Taking steps to study abroad is the dream and objective of many students. Some get there the first time, others need help to better understand this process. Indeed, regardless of the duration, it is sometimes difficult to know what awaits them once there. Especially, if they choose Paris, capital of France to continue their studies! The mission of Excusez My French is to help them take the first steps and build their administrative files to complete their journey. Today, I call Sara, a student whom we have followed; we asked her a few questions, she shares her journey and her situation:
Sara BIZUAYEHU
Sara: “My name is Sara BIZUAYEHU, I am 25 years old and I come from Ethiopia. After obtaining my Bsc in Chemical Engineering and currently, I am studying MBA2 Luxury Brand Management. ”
Sara: “Like many students, I am attracted to France, because Paris is one of the beautiful fashion capitals and that I wanted to visit it. In addition, I have always loved French culture, rich in history and fascinating in architecture. For these reasons and many others, I wanted to learn more and I could not find a better country, a better alternative to continue my studies. Paris was obvious to me. ”
Sara: “It was above all the language barrier. Most of the people I met barely spoke English. Although I was doing a lot of work on my French, I still don't feel able to hold a full conversation. This, in a way, affected my stay and my procedures. ”
Sara: "It's through my school. ESLSCA Business School Paris (Free Higher School of Applied Commercial Sciences). "
Sara: “At first, I chose school for its reputation. By doing research on the Internet, I was able to find information on it. Subsequently, I asked one of my friends living in France if she knew this school and what she thought of it. She told me a lot of good, and through other research, but especially thanks to my school, I discovered Excusez My French. I could be helped and guided, it is a good recommendation. The service of Excusez My French has been useful in many respects, notably on the linguistic level. As said before, my French was not perfect. That said, the fact of having had only one bilingual interlocutor allowed me to stay focused on my studies and not to be scattered in my administrative procedures. ”
Sara: “I would suggest that they focus on the linguistic aspect. They should learn and master the French language before coming to Paris, or even elsewhere in France. We all know that language is the primary means of communication. And not being able to master the official language of that country makes things a little more difficult, although the tasks at hand seem easy! ”
For Sara, this experience is one of the most beautiful and enriching. We are happy to have contributed to its integration and above all, to have helped it linguistically. Several other students have used our services for their first steps in Paris, we have and work every day to satisfy the people who call on us. We hope that this interview will help you in the preparation of your studies in Paris, we will give you another appointment very soon to discover the profile and experience of another student.
